For those of you that celebrate the New Year in January, I wish you a year filled with opportunities, growth, harmony, peace and development for your families, communities and nations.
January 2017 marks the beginning of my role as EARTH University’s second president, following Dr. Jose Zaglul who retired last December. I am deeply honored to be guiding this extraordinary organization that in the past 26 years has achieved remarkable impact around the world in the academic, environmental and productive fields. Through the work of more than 2100 graduates, and countless faculty, staff, interns, donors and friends, EARTH has contributed to the establishment of a more prosperous and just society in communities in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa and the rest of the world.
I accept this responsibility with a deep commitment to maintain and strengthen our mission. With your support, we will continue to fulfill the vision that inspired our founders to establish EARTH University.
