Daniel, from Honduras, holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the National Autonomous University of Honduras and a Master’s in Human Development from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO) in Argentina. His academic background also includes certificate programs in public policies for minority groups, youth development, and social responsibility.
Daniel has more than 10 years of experience in areas related to student well-being, leadership, and youth development. In Honduras, he structured two volunteer initiatives: “Hazte Notar,” focused on violence prevention and youth empowerment, and the “Hospital María Volunteer Program,” aimed at providing recreational and educational support to patients.
At Zamorano University he contributed to the strengthening of student life through the implementation of the LIDER Program, which energized student participation and consolidated a culture of leadership. In addition, he modernized training offerings through the design and implementation of virtual courses aimed at strengthening a culture of peace and student identity. He also promoted the reactivation and creation of student clubs, positioning them as key drivers of student development and empowerment.
His work is distinguished by the integration of life skills education, interculturality, and well-being, promoting inclusive environments that enhance coexistence and position student leadership as a central pillar of holistic development.
