Qualifications:
The profile of the position requires the following qualifications:
- Master´s degree, at a minimum, in an area related to philosophy, ethics and/or other humanistic areas.
- Possess theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and creativity to facilitate the learning process of young people in the areas of philosophy, ethics, and humanities.
- Experience as a professor, preferably in a setting that practices student-centered learning and experiential learning.
- Experience as a facilitator of formal and informal learning processes.
- Demonstrated teaching excellence. (Attach evaluations.)
- Fluent in written and oral English and Spanish
- Excellent abilities in inter-disciplinary and multicultural teamwork
- Availability to live and work in a rural area

Responsibilities:
EARTH University is looking for qualified candidates to:
- Contribute to the integral formation of our students as future leaders from a humanistic perspective
- Facilitate student learning of topics related to ethics and critical thinking.
- Strengthen students´ training in values and critical thinking, not only in the curricular spaces, but also in the co-curricular ones in close relation with the Student Affairs Unit.
- Contribute actively to the implementation of the educational principle ¨Learning by living together¨ that is part of EARTH´s training model.
- Facilitate student learning through applied principles and experiences in a multicultural and diverse environment.
- Participate in outreach activities of the University and the International Academic Relations Office.
- Participate in research projects, in the Work Experience course and other activities that involve students of the University and in scientific or professional activities in your field
- Support other activities of the academic program and provide service to the University (in both campuses: Guácimo, Limón and Liberia, Guanacaste) than contribute to the integral education of the student.
