Steven is a professor of Pest Management: Weeds. He collaborates in the integrated management of the Crops Farm in the Work Experience program. A specialist in Weed Management, he completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Costa Rica, obtaining a Master of Science in Crop Protection. His specialty focuses on research and teaching the responsible management of this flora and the biological and ecological bases that explain its presence in agroecosystems. In the responsible management of pesticides, he develops the rational, safe, and sustainable use of these substances for agriculture, along with action steps and management to avoid pest resistance. He also serves as the Academic Agricultural Regent of EARTH University.
