Pest Management: Entomology
Walter is responsible for the Pest Management-Entomology course. His multidisciplinary training is a unique blend of teaching, research and extension experience, acquired in the course of his academic and professional trainings. He holds a first-class honors B.S. degree in Agriculture from Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria, an M.Sc. degree in Nematology from Ghent University, Belgium and a Doctorate degree in Entomology from McGill University, Canada. He completed a five years’ postdoctoral research program in Parasitology at McGill University, on the Bill Gates foundation and Grand Challenges Canada project on insecticide discovery. He has authored and co-authored many scientific publications in international journals. His current work involves the development of a more eco-friendly and sustainable pest management system at EARTH University.
