Marjorie, from Nicaragua, is a professor of English as a Foreign Language (EFL). As a linguist, her teaching focuses on understanding multicultural perspectives in foreign language education. In her field, language learning serves as an important medium for communication and interaction, allowing for the development of intercultural competencies. Her research areas are centered on multilingual practices, educational assessment in language teaching, and linguistic ideologies. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Grand Valley State University in the United States and a Ph.D. in Language Studies from the State University of Londrina in Brazil.
