Leslie Antonio is the Sustainable Agricultural Systems course professor for third-year students. His course focuses on animal production practices that ensure efficient and sustainable production systems. Leslie graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from the National University of Costa Rica. Before joining EARTH University, he completed two postdoctoral studies at the Free University of Berlin in Germany and the University of Zurich in Switzerland. His research involved studying glucose metabolism in cattle. In 2014, Leslie completed his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Guelph in Canada.
