David is a Professional in Animal Sciences from the University of Antioquia (Colombia). He have a Master’s degree in Agribusiness and a Ph.D in Sustainable Development, both from the University of Brasilia (Brasil). He has experience in organic crops, commodities and animal breeding, including medical cannabis, soybean, açaí, cattle raising and aquaculture. He also has experience in project management in areas such agribusiness, research and development, agroecological systems, circular economy, regenerative agriculture, work with rural communities, carbon sequestration, environmental education, solid waste management, Integrated Crop-Livestock-Forestry Systems, climate change and REDD+.
