David is one of the professors of the Entrepreneurship Program at EARTH University, where he collaborates in teaching courses related to sustainable entrepreneurship, agribusiness innovation, and engagement with rural communities. He holds a degree in Animal Science from the University of Antioquia (Colombia), a Master’s degree in Agribusiness from the University of Brasília (Brazil), and a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development (Agroecology track) from the same university, with a double degree in Sustainability (Governance for Sustainable Development track) from Sapienza University of Rome (Italy).
He has extensive experience in the design, management, and evaluation of projects in agroindustry, agroecological systems, circular economy, regenerative agriculture, and territorial development. He has served as coordinator for international cooperation initiatives with institutions such as IDH (The Sustainable Trade Initiative) and the Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB). His work has focused on strengthening rural entrepreneurship, promoting sustainable ventures in family farming, and developing inclusive and resilient value chains in agricultural contexts.
