
Arturo Condo
Dr. Arturo Condo is the President of EARTH University since 2017. During his tenure at EARTH, Dr. Condo has led the creation of EARTH Futures, a global solutions center which aims to transform rural areas and food systems for the better. He has also guided the launch of EARTH Ventures, an initiative to launch new businesses with purpose that also contribute to the long-term sustainability of the University.
He served as President of INCAE Business School between 2007 and 2015. Prior to this role he served for two decades as Dean of the MBA program, Dean of Innovation and Development, Director of the Latin American Center for Competitiveness and Sustainable Development (CLACDS) and Professor in strategy, competitiveness, and sustainable development.
Dr. Condo has a Doctorate in business strategy and competitiveness from Harvard Business School and an MBA from INCAE. He is a member of the Inaugural Class of the Central American Leadership Initiative (CALI), a fellowship of the Aspen Institute. In 2007, the World Economic Forum recognized him as a Young Global Leader (YGL).
He is a member of the Food Systems Advisory Board of the United Nations Food Systems Hub. He is the Chair of the University Global Coalition, an initiative to advance integration of sustainable development within universities. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Grupo Bancolombia, of Vital Voices Costa Rica and the Inter-American Dialogue, as well as Country Chair for Costa Rica at the organization Global Dignity.
Dr. Condo lives in Costa Rica, is married, and has three children.
