Álvaro comes from a town in northern Costa Rica.
The opportunity to learn new things at EARTH appeals to his very curious mind, and he loves the University’s practical, innovative learning model.
After he graduates, he hopes to go back to his hometown and develop a company to provide employment and creative development ideas for his community.
He feels a true vocation for both environmental stewardship and farming, and he has committed himself to improving the lives of the people in his home region.
