- Postgraduate degree (doctorate) in agricultural or related areas of science.
- Mastery of data management, analysis, and the reporting and communicating of results.
- Ability to use software and technological tools to manage of research processes.
- Demonstrated capacity in drafting proposals and in the execution of research projects.
- Demonstrated excellence in research.
- Demonstrated teaching excellence. (Attach evaluations.)
- Fluent in written and oral English and Spanish
- Excellent abilities in inter-disciplinary and multicultural teamwork
- Availability to live and work in a rural area

Responsibilities:
EARTH University is looking for qualified candidates to:
- Lead, manage, coordinate, and administer student research processes.
- Teach courses related to research methods and proposal preparation in the graduation projects.
- Review research proposals in collaboration with the graduation project advisors.
- Provide administrative support during the execution of the graduation projects in collaboration with the different parties involved.
- Facilitate student learning through applied principles and experiences in a multicultural and diverse environment.
- Participate in outreach activities of the University and the International Academic Relations Office.
- Participate in research projects, in the Work Experience course, and other activities that involve students of the University and in scientific or professional activities in your field
- Support other activities of the academic program and provide service to the University (in both campuses: Guácimo, Limón and Liberia, Guanacaste) than contribute
