Benito was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, but thinks of Chiapas, where his family lived for several years, as a second home.

Benito plans to return to help both of his communities. He sees that “There is a lot of potential to create a business and help the people, but they lack guidance to know how to make full use of the resources they have.” Benito wants people in his communities to learn how to use the resources they have in a sustainable way. He does not want them to simply take what they can from the land, but to learn how to care for the environment and animals. The time Benito spent working at a recycling center inspired him to start a recycling company. He wants to promote environmental awareness and would like his company to teach communities how to recycle. Benito knows there is a need to help people all over Mexico and the world, and he hopes his company will allow him to reach beyond his communities in Aguascalientes and Chiapas.
