Hector comes from Comoyaguëla, a small city in central Honduras. His agricultural experience began at age seven, when he started helping his father with the poultry farm whenever he could.
In addition, his academic training at his agricultural high school further nurtured his affinity for farming. When he heard about EARTH from a teacher at his school, its innovative model immediately appealed to him.
With his training at the University, Hector hopes to learn about sustainable, productive agricultural methods that he can share with his community. He dreams of reviving his family´s poultry business with a practical and innovative approach that generates employment for others as well.
