Flor de María´s family lives in the city of Antigua, of which Flor speaks proudly because of its rich cultural heritage.
In addition to her high school agricultural studies, she has community service experience with directing tree-planting and recycling campaigns for young people.
She appreciates the University’s practical approach to learning and the professors’ dynamism and commitment to their students.
With her EARTH training, she dreams of having a business that will generate employment for her community, inspiring her society to love and care for the environment, and of serving as a leader for change. In these ways, she hopes to combine social and environmental sustainability with economic leadership in her hometown.
