Diego´s family lives in Canto de Llano, the heart of Panama. He gained most of his agricultural experience at his high school, and a talk given by an EARTH representative visiting the school sparked his interest in the University.
The combination of theory and practice at EARTH appeals to him, especially the required entrepreneurial projects. He believes the University´s resources and innovative technology will enhance his learning experience, and he looks forward to exploring the organic farm and the forest reserve.
Above all, he embraces EARTH´s mission to nurture “agro leaders.” With the leadership skills he develops here, he hopes to address Panama´s economic inequality in a practical and ecological way.
