David was born and raised in Maputo, Mozambique. Since childhood, David has loved working with plants and animals.
He helped his family cultivate lettuce, corn, tomatoes, and groundnuts.
As an adult, he has grown to embrace the idea of investing in the land to ensure its well-being.
He also cares deeply about bettering others´ lives. “No price can be put on bringing joy to other people,” he says.
Someday, he hopes to start a farm that can offer people in his home community meaningful work. With his training at EARTH, he has faith that he will do so.
