Brismyri grew up in Santa María, a town in the Montecristi community of the northwest of the Dominican Republic.
She heard about EARTH at a talk at her technical high school, and its emphasis on practical experience, leadership, and creativity intrigued her.
She envisions owning a business and “serving as an example of leadership to her family, community, and country,” and she hopes to offer the knowledge she acquires at EARTH to those who need it.
