Annet was born in Uganda and moved back to Rwanda as a young girl after the genocide. She used to spend her holidays helping on her aunt’s farm.
Annet wants to be a farmer and return to Rwanda to teach others what she learns at EARTH. Annet sees an opportunity to create jobs in her country and to teach others to value all living things. She is an alumnus of Cornerstone Leadership Academy in Rwanda, which aims to help bright young students from underprivileged backgrounds to become future leaders. Annet wants to reach out to the youth in Rwanda, especially girls, to help them see that with determination, vision, and a purpose in life, they can succeed.
