Accommodations at EARTH-La Flor
Housing during the visit to EARTH-La Flor will be at the
Hilton Garden Inn. A block of rooms is reserved at the rate of $99 per night. The hotel provides free parking for those who are driving and fast, complimentary Wi-Fi for all. The hotel is less than a mile from the
Daniel Oduber International Airport (LIR). Upon exiting the airport, you will be greeted by an EARTH University representative.

Accommodations at Las Catalinas
Las Catalinas offers a variety of housing options. All apartments and homes provide air conditioning, full kitchens, and fast, complimentary Wi-Fi.
Cellular Phones and Wi-Fi
Unless you have a global data plan, we recommend turning off your cellular service (e.g. leaving it on airplane mode) before landing in Costa Rica. Otherwise, data and roaming charges can be considerable. Free, high-quality Wi-Fi is available throughout each property at which we will be staying.
Weather and Dress
Temperatures in Guanacaste are consistently hot, so you should feel free to dress comfortably and casually. Afternoon rain is common during the month of October. On campus, appropriate daywear for campus tours and meals includes lightweight long pants, T-shirts and hiking boots or tennis shoes.
During the evening, slacks, polo shirts and sandals are appropriate for men. Casual dresses, skirts or slacks, and sandals are appropriate for women.
Las Catalinas is a casual beach community. Dress is casual. Pack activewear for swimming, bicycling, hiking, etc.
