EARTH alumni are AGRONOMIC ENGINEERS with the academic degree of Licenciatura in Agricultural Sciences

Students graduate from EARTH with a degree in Agricultural Sciences known as a “Licenciatura”. This four year program which is divided into three 15-week trimesters per year, requires a minimum of 196 credit hours to graduate. Our degree is generally recognized as being between a Bachelors and a Master’s degree.

Accreditation

Since November 2006, EARTH’s curriculum has been accredited by the Costa Rican Higher Education Accreditation System (SINAES in Spanish), assuring our students and alumni a high-quality education that is continually updated. In addition, EARTH University is the first institution in Central America to have its academic program certified regionally as part of a pilot program of the Ibero-American Network of Accreditation Agencies (RIACES in Spanish).
