Every year we invite our alumni to tell us about the impact they are having in their communities. In 2012, responses were received from 56 percent of alumni or 874 of the 1456 total alumni at the time of the survey.
76% of alumni report having a positive social impact, in such areas as*:
-Job creation (42%)
-Workplace improvements (44%)
- Improvement of living standards through farmer training (44%)
64% of alumni report having a positive environmental impact, in such areas as**:
-Waste management (43%)
-Organic farming (35%)
-Biodiversity conservation (34%)
Alumni in class years 1993-2000 have created an average of four jobs for each graduate.
40% are active volunteers in their community
