Cristiano is a professor of chemical processes for second-year students and specializes in bioprocesses applied to the valorization of agricultural residues. He has developed research projects in themes related to bioenergy production, separation techniques, compound recovery, and waste treatment through chemical and biochemical approaches. His education goal at EARTH is to train students through the application of the (bio)chemical sciences to develop sustainable solutions for agriculture. Dr. Rodrigues graduated from University of Minnesota with a Ph.D. in Bioproducts and Biosystems Science, Engineering, and Management, and from the University of São Paulo with a B.Sc. in Industrial Chemical Engineering.
