Adriany Amorim holds a Ph.D in Biotechnology from the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain) and the Federal University of Piaui (Brazil). She studied Food technology at the Portuguese Catholic University (Portugal), and holds an MSc in Food Chemistry Technology from the Federal University of Ceara (Brazil). She has worked with systems development to verify the quality of foods beverages and natural antioxidants (added value) from fruit waste. She teaches Food Processing to fourth-year students and is mainly interested in three areas: natural additives, food quality and value-added foods.
