Date: June 16th, 2022

Globe Foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals and organizations working to advance access, opportunities, entrepreneurial endeavors, community growth, and independence through learning. They are inviting applications from EARTH University entrepreneurs for grants to launch or scale their businesses. This is a new program at EARTH, and grants will be in the amount of $10,000-15,000.

  • Applicants must be 4th-year EARTH students, or alumni who graduated in 2020 or 2021. Team applications are permitted if all members meet this qualification.
  • Businesses must be already launched or ready to launch in 2023. Applicants must explain how their business will be socially and environmentally responsible. Applications can be based on entrepreneurship projects and graduation projects from a student’s time at EARTH, but this is not required.
  • An important part of this grant program is giving back to help future EARTH entrepreneurs. Applicants should propose how they will give back, which may include money, time, and/or sharing of other resources.
  • Awardees will participate in two calls during the first year of the grant with representatives of EARTH and Globe Foundation to discuss business results, learnings, and feedback for the grant program in the future.
  • Applications should be in English
  • Applications are due by September 15, 2022, with award announcements by early December and grant awards in January.

The application will be available shortly, and requirements will include a business plan, first year budget, and personal statement.
