COMMUNICATION PROFESSOR

Responsibilities:

The candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Teach courses in oral, audiovisual, and creative communication with a professional and leadership focus.
  • Facilitate learning in a multicultural and diverse environment.
  • Participate in outreach activities of the University and the International Academic Relations program.
  • Participate in research projects, in the Work Experience course and other activities that involve students of the University, and in scientific or professional activities in your field.
  • Support other activities of the academic program and provide service to the University (on both campuses: Guácimo, Limón and Liberia, Guanacaste).

Qualifications:
The profile of the position requires the following qualifications:

  • Graduate (preferably Ph.D.) degree in communication sciences or language, education, or other areas of the humanities and social sciences.
  • Expert approach to oral communication and to the new social and professional communication media.
  • Demonstrated teaching excellence. (Attach documentation.).
  • Excellent communicative abilities in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent abilities in inter-disciplinary and multicultural teamwork.
  • Willingness to live, work, and move in rural areas.
