EARTH bananas now in Walmart, Más x Menos in Costa Rica

San José, Costa Rica — EARTH University’s exportation-quality bananas now can be purchased in 10 Walmart and 22 Más x Menos megastores throughout Costa Rica.

EARTH bananas remain available in other Costa Rican retailers – including Auto Mercado, AMPM and Fresh Market locations – in addition to their sale on EARTH’s campus in Guácimo. Internationally, they are offered at select Whole Foods Markets in the USA, where they have received a “Best” rating for the manner in which they are responsibly grown.

The 330-hectare banana plantation at the University has been recognized as a model for adaptation to and mitigation of climate change. With every banana purchase, a contribution is made to the EARTH scholarship fund – enabling you to support the educations of hundreds of young people, all while enjoying your breakfast or healthy afternoon snack. They truly are benevolent bananas.
