At EARTH, we love to feel like we are close to the people who help us. Our students want to tell those who take the time to make a donation how much they are appreciated by the entire community.
Last Wednesday, 26 students together with EARTH Foundation members called 292 donors in the US to say thank you for donating during 2015. This annual activity, called the Thank-A-Thon, has been running strong for three years now.
Besides one-on-one phone calls between students and donors, activities included writing and sending postcards, leaving voicemails (for those who didn’t answer their phones), and even singing Happy Birthday, as did Moses Chilenje (2019, Malawi).
It was certainly an event to be remembered.
