Tim Solso gives talk on business innovation

On Thursday, April 3, 2014, President of the EARTH University Board of Directors Tim Solso delivered a talk entitled “Leading the change: the road map to success” at the Radisson Hotel in San José, Costa Rica.
His presentation focused on how to successfully run an enterprise during times of crisis, and is inspired by his long and successful career as a leader and innovator in the private sector, including at Cummins, where he worked for over 40 years, and General Motors (GM) where he was recently elected as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board.
The event was attended by some 100 business and government leaders in Costa Rica.
In addition to his leadership role on the EARTH University’s Board of Directors, Tim is also a member of the Board of Trustees for EARTH University and the EARTH University Foundation, and has been a dedicated supporter and promoter of EARTH for more than 10 years.
EARTH students were also present at the event, showcasing products developed as part of EARTH’s Entrepreneurial Projects Program.
