December 14, 2012—Wrapping up an eventful year, the University’s campuses will be closing for the holiday vacation. Beginning December 17, EARTH will operate on a reduced holiday staff, and from December 24-January 6 EARTH’s two campuses in Costa Rica will be closed.
“Our faculty and staff give the most of themselves year round to fulfill the mission of EARTH. These vacations are well-deserved and we wish our team and their families a safe, happy and healthy holiday break,” commented Daniel Sherrard, EARTH University provost.
EARTH’s campuses will reopen on January 7 as the University prepares for orientation week for its newest entering class. The 2013 academic year officially begins on January 21.
The EARTH University Foundation offices in the United States will remain open, closing only for the observation of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. For supporters in the United States, tax-deductible donations to the EARTH University Foundation will count when filing 2012 tax returns if made by end of day December 31, 2012.
