On Thursday, April 26, EARTH University and Whole Foods Market hosted a reception about entrepreneurial education and sustainable development at the Whole Foods Market flagship store in London on Kensington High Street. With nearly 60 guests in attendance, the evening began with a presentation about EARTH University’s vision, mission and values by EARTH president, José Zaglul, and vice president of development, Ingrid Blanton. Three EARTH alumni, Gixia Arauz, Karina Mirza and Moises Gómez, followed the presentation with testimonials about their education at EARTH and experiences after graduating.
The event, which was organized by EARTH University’s President’s Young Advisory Board (PYAB), served as an important opportunity to raise awareness for the Institution in the UK and establish new friendships with individuals, corporations and organizations in this country.
EARTH University sincerely thanks Sofia Englund of the PYAB for leading the coordination of the reception and Whole Foods Market for its continued collaboration with EARTH to prepare ethical entrepreneurs with the commitment and capacity to foster social, economic and environmental well-being worldwide.
