Continuing Education Program
Welcome!

Facilitate the exchange of information between EARTH and the institutions
or individuals involved in sustainable development in the humid
tropics
Establish permanent links with farmers in the region and their families
to nourish the actions of research and teaching, in a way that students
and professors learn about the causes of the problems that face
the community and together with the community search for solutions.
Strategically, the Continuing Education Program (PEP):
1. . Is a key component in the relationship developed by EARTH with
the different communities (scientific, academic, institutional,
NGO’s, private sector, etc.)
2. It’s a source of income to sustain this activity.
This way, PEP has cultivated a stable relationship with the nearby
communities allowing it to develop:
• Educational activities,
• Research projects
• Educational tourism
...that have permitted not just learning about the local reality
but also to participate collaboratively in improvements.
PEP is componed of four groups with common responsibilities but
with different emphasis:
1. External Events and Educational Tourism
2. The Strategic Training Team (CE)
3. The Center for Entreprenurial Training (CFE)
4. Community Development Program (PDC)
