sciences and natural resources, located in the humid tropics in
Costa Rica, Central America. The educational system at EARTH is
based on the principle of student centered teaching and experiential

Position Description:
The Dean of Academic Affairs provides academic and administrative leadership to a dynamic, learner-centered undergraduate program in agricultural sciences and natural resources consisting of 400 students from 25 countries throughout the tropics of Latin America and Africa. The Dean provides creative leadership, mentoring and faculty development to a multidisciplinary, international faculty to ensure the academic excellence of EARTH’s programs.
