University Boards
Welcome!
The Board of Directors shall formulate the broad policies under
which the Rector of the University shall develop and manage the
institution, in conformance with Law No. 7044 and as specified in
Article 12 thereof. Among its functions shall be to:
a) determine the activities and the educational and administrative
policies of the school, taking into account the international character
it must project, as well as its adherence to democratic principles;
b) approve, amend and interpret the curricula, programs and regulations,
acting on recommendations made by the Director of the University;
c) enter into agreements with public and private institutions,
both national and foreign, for the' realization of its objectives;
d) name or remove the Rector of the University;
e) name or remove the external auditor and the lawyer of the institution;
f) propose to the board of Trustees the annual operating and investment
budget, for final approval of income and expenses at the program
level;
g) determine the requirements for admission of students to the
School;
h) assign responsibilities or priorities for study or work;
i) report to the Board of Trustees on the activities of the School,
at the Board's request.
j) to name the Emeritus Directors and Honorary Members of the Board
of Directors.
