Welcome!

EARTH, located in Guácimo, Limón,
Costa Rica is a private, international, non-profit university dedicated
to training professionals in agricultural sciences and natural resources
in order to contribute to sustainable development in the tropics.
The University offers a four-year program and graduates earn a
licentiate degree with the title of Agronomist. EARTH aims to train
leaders that promote sustainable development in the tropics.
Student Life at EARTH
EARTH’s campus in Guácimo provides an excellent learning
environment. Just over 400 students (about 100 in each class) from
more than 20 countries live on campus. This living arrangement increases
the students’ opportunities to learn from other cultures,
develop lifelong friendships and expand their perspectives about
the world.
Beginning in their first year, students share a dorm room with a
classmate from a different country. In addition to rooms, the dormitories
have bathrooms, showers, study areas with wireless Internet access
and common areas, and are surrounded by green spaces
During weekends and holidays, students can leave campus, and during
their free time they can participate in any number of artistic,
cultural, recreation and sports activities.
